Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved 13 Song Thrush and 5 Redwing. Also seen were 14 Goldcrest and 2 Blackcap.
Diurnal Migration
A varied selection included 150 Jackdaw, 55 Pink-footed Goose, 30 Chaffinch, 20 Meadow Pipit, 14 Tree Sparrow, 10 Skylark, 7 Long-tailed Tit, 5 Mistle Thrush, 3 Lesser Redpoll, 3 Brambling and single Bullfinch, Twite, Siskin and Swallow.
Miscellaneous
Single Water Rail and Merlin were the best of the rest.
