Wheatear and Blackcap fall

Offshore
Good numbers of Sandwich Tern continue to congregate offshore.
Grounded Migrants
A small fall was evident with 25 Wheatear, 22 Blackcap, 10 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackbird, 2 Willow Warbler, 2 Goldcrest and a Robin logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
The first-winter drake Long-tailed Duck remains in residence and waders included 4 Ruff and 3 Black-tailed Godwit.
Miscellaneous
At least one Little Egret continues to linger.
Moths
Early Thorn was the sole attraction to the moth trap.
