Black Redstart remains

Offshore
Observations over the sea only produced small numbers of Common Scoter, Razorbill and Guillemot .
Grounded Migrants
The Black Redstart remains and a few Goldcrest, a single Blackcap and a smattering of Redwing, Song Thrush and Blackbird were logged.
Diurnal Migration
The first calm day for a while produced a good variety through the morning with 1610 Pink-footed Goose, 780 Starling, 440 Jackdaw, 175 Linnet, 165 Meadow Pipit, 105 Tree Sparrow, 80 Skylark, 69 Whooper Swan, 30 Chaffinch, 26 Twite, 24 Carrion Crow, 15 Pied/White Wagtail,12 Siskin, 10 Greenfinch, 10 Reed Bunting, 8 Stock Dove, 2 Rock Pipit and single Yellowhammer and Swallow logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
The female Long-tailed Duck remains and 21 Barnacle Geese were recorded. Waders included 14 Greenshank.
Miscellaneous
Additional sightings included a scattering of Little Egret, 4 Water Rail, Merlin, Peregrine and the long-staying Hooded Crow.
