Marsh Harrier, Short-eared Owl and Hooded Crow

Offshore
Early morning sightings (0700-0800) produced 80 Common Scoter, 30 Wigeon, 10 Gannet, 7 Red-throated Diver, 4 Tufted Duck and 2 Razorbill.
Grounded Migrants
Birds were again thin on the ground with just 6 Goldcrest, 5 Wheatear, 3 Chiffchaff and a Whitethroat logged.
Diurnal Migration
A much quieter day, although a Marsh Harrier moved through and 750 Pink-footed Geese headed south the supporting cast was limited to just 170 Meadow Pipit, 80 Swallow, 14 alba Wagtail, 6 Skylark, 4 Grey Wagtail, 2 Siskin, 2 House Martin and 2 Reed Bunting.
Miscellaneous
A Short-eared Owl and Merlin were recorded and the Hooded Crow continues to linger.
