Green Sandpiper and Tree Sparrows

Offshore
A check over the sea revealed just a few Sandwich Tern.
Grounded Migrants
Despite the bright and clear conditions a smattering of migrants was evident with 15 Pied Wagtail, 11 Willow Warbler, 9 Whitethroat, 7 Sedge Warbler, 4 Wheatear, 4 Robin and a Whinchat logged.
Diurnal Migration
Although passage was light it provided the greatest variety of the autumn so far with 30 Swallow, 14 Tree Sparrow, 3 Tree Pipit, 2 Sand Martin and single House Martin and Grey Wagtail recorded.
Wildfowl and Waders
A Green Sandpiper was the pick of the waders.
Miscellaneous
Two Little Owl were again on show.
Moths
A Rusty Dot Pearl was the only immigrant, however Agriphila geniculea and Feathered Gothic were new for the year.
