Curlew Sandpipers remain

Offshore
Observations on the morning falling tide produced 60 Sandwich Tern, 10 Gannet, 5 Common Scoter, 3 Shag and single Arctic Tern and Razorbill.
Grounded Migrants
Little evidence to suggest the arrival of any migrants overnight with just 2 Whitethroat, 2 Goldcrest and single Wheatear, Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff logged.
Diurnal Migration
Just small numbers of Swallow, Sand Martin, alba Wagtail and Meadow Pipit battled against the wind.
Wildfowl and Waders
There are now 3 Shoveler amongst 110 Teal and waders included 30 Greenshank, 2 juvenile Curlew Sandpiper and a Black-tailed Godwit amongst 1100 Redshank.
