Waders continue to provide interest

Offshore
Early morning observations produced just small numbers of Manx Shearwater, Common Scoter, Gannet and Sandwich Tern.
Grounded Migrants
Willow Warblers continue to trickle through.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 12 Greenshank, 5 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Common Sandpiper and single Ruff and Little Ringed Plover amongst 200 Dunlin.
Moths
Immigrants included Dark Sword Grass, Silver Y and Rusty Dot Pearl – the latter the first of the year.
