Black Tern brightens an otherwise dreary day

A wet and dismal day was somewhat brightened by a Black Tern that moved slowly north close inshore on the rising tide at 1315hrs. Also seen during two periods of observation (0630-0730 & 1300-1400) were totals of 115 Sandwich Tern, 90 Common Scoter, 44 Gannet and single Kittiwake and Shelduck.
Diurnal Migration
A Merlin and 2 Grey Wagtail were logged before the rain took hold.
