Morning observations in driving rain and low visibility (0900-1000) produced 16 Gannet, 15 Sandwich Tern, 3 Manx Shearwater, 3 Kittiwake, 3 Arctic Skua and a Razorbill. A brief check (1100) produced 2 further Arctic Skua..
Grounded Migrants
Swallow numbers begin to build with a flock of 120 birds feeding low over the cattle fields. The only other sighting of note involved a single Whinchat.
