A return to normal fare

Rarities
Unfortunately, despite the early morning mist raising expectations, the Bluethroat departed overnight.
Offshore
Early morning observations (0615-0715) produced 180 Sandwich Tern, 100 Gannet, 40 Kittiwake, 21 Common Scoter, 15 Manx Shearwater, 5 Common Tern and 3 Guillemot.
Grounded Migrants
After the excitement of yesterday sightings were much more mundane with just a Wheatear and a Willow Warbler logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
The 2 Pink-footed Geese continue to linger and waders included 180 Dunlin, 100 Ringed Plover, 21 Turnstone and 3 Whimbrel.
Miscellaneous
Both Little Owl and Peregrine were seen.
Mammals
A single Hare was logged.
