Great Northern Diver tops the bill

Offshore
A Great Northern Diver spent the high tide period feeding close inshore, also seen were a late Gannet and 22 Common Scoter, 8 Razorbill, 5 Kittiwake, 4 Shag and 4 Red-throated Diver.
Diurnal Migration
A group of 4 Whooper Swan and two Siskin were evidence of some late southerly movement.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 5300 Knot, 1720 Dunlin, 1060 Redshank, 13 Greenshank, 2 Black-tailed Godwit and a Spotted Redshank. A small group of 5 pale-bellied Brent Geese were the pick of the wildfowl.
Miscellaneous
Flocks of 100 Goldfinch and 80 Twite were seen and single Little Egret, Water Rail and Merlin logged.
