Fruitless weather conditions dominate

Offshore
Morning sightings on the rising tide (0830-1000) involved 40 Common Scoter, 25 Sandwich Tern, 22 Gannet, 7 Red-throated Diver, 5 Guillemot and single Manx Shearwater and Razorbill.
Grounded Migrants
A Wheatear was the only record of note.
Wildfowl and waders
Wigeon numbers are beginning to build and at least 3 Black-tailed Godwit remain.
Dragonflies
Despite the windy conditions both Migrant Hawker and Common Darter were logged.
