Early morning observations (0730-0830) provided 90 Sandwich Tern, 40 Common Scoter, 15 Gannet, 10 Guillemot, 7 Red-throated Diver, 6 Kittiwake, 5 Arctic Tern and 3 dark-phase Arctic Skua.
Grounded Migrants
A quiet day with just 11 Wheatear and 3 Willow Warbler logged.
Diurnal Migration
Swallows continue to trickle through with 30 birds recorded.
Wildfowl and Waders
Only 4 Whimbrel were found as numbers continue to decline.
Breeding Birds
A further increase in the number of territorial Sedge Warbler and Whitethroat on the island was noted.
Miscellaneous
The Little Egret continues to wander the island.
