Hooded Crow still in residence

Offshore
A flock of 18 Arctic Tern fed close inshore. Early morning observations (0615-0715) included 60 Sandwich Tern, 20 Gannet, 5 Guillemot, 2 Red-throated Diver and a single dark phase Arctic Skua. A second watch in the evening (1900-2000) provided 60 Common Scoter, 40 Gannet, 40 Sandwich Tern, 17 Manx Shearwater and single Fulmar and Kittiwake.
Grounded Migrants
A total of 7 Wheatear were logged and a Hooded Crow remains.
Wildfowl and Waders
Passage waders included 500 Dunlin, 80 Ringed Plover and 3 Bar-tailed Godwit.
Breeding Birds
Post-breeding flocks of Lapwing and Starling are already starting to build.
