An early Lesser Whitethroat

Offshore
A light northerly passage was noted in an early morning watch (0700-0800), sightings included: 130 Common Scoter, 100 Sandwich Tern, 40 Razorbill, 10 Guillemot, 8 Red-throated Diver and a single Arctic Skua.
Grounded Migrants
A bright and clear morning yielded few grounded migrants, sightings were limited to 16 Wheatear, 5 Willow Warbler, 2 Blackcap and 2 Chiffchaff. Highlight was the early return of a Lesser Whitethroat to the hedgerows around Biggar.
Wildfowl and Waders
The Spotted Redshank continues to linger, albeit elusively.
Moths
A Small Quaker attracted to the MV trap becomes just the second island record.
