Great Northern Diver.............

Offshore
At least 4 Shag still remain, an early morning northerly passage (0630-0730) was highlighted by a summer plumaged Great Northern Diver along with 63 Gannet, 57 Kittiwake and 140 Common Scoter. In addition, a short evening watch (1715-1745) produced 120 Sandwich Tern and small numbers of Red-throated Diver, Common Scoter, Kittiwake, Gannet and Razorbill.
Grounded Migrants
Totals of 4 Wheatear and 4 Goldcrest were perhaps remnants of previous influxes.
Diurnal Migration
Limited to 3 Sand Martin
Wildfowl and Waders
The pair of Gadwall and 2 Black-tailed Godwit remain.
Miscellaneous
Dusk provided 2 Little Owl and a Barn Owl.
Moths
Hebrew Character and Angles Shades appear in the moth trap.
